Not Quite Jesus Çhrist®
Memories...During one of the few times attending Presbyterian Sunday school, I was subjected to the idea of The Devil® being quite the trickster. According to the teacher The Devil® enjoyed playing dress-up as Jesus Christ® and would test the faith of Jesus' believers. This story stayed with me for some time as a child. I was mostly affected by this idea while spending the night at the house of one of my cousins, who happened to attend the same church. While lying in bed, praying to fall asleep quickly, I would be paralyzed with fear, waiting for the false messiah to appear and test my faith.
